Not a Happy Camper

Since Elliot was around 4 months we've been giving him some "solids" (rice cereal, applesauce, or banana) a couple times a week. Our pediatrician recommended doing this just to get him used to texture. He doesn't eat very much and I think more ends up on his face, belly and diaper than in his mouth but he has always seemed to enjoy all three. That changed today.

The little man has been sort of refusing to breastfeed for the last 36 hours. He eats a little bit then seems done or distracted. Is this a possible side effect of teething?

Anyway, I decided to give him some rice cereal this morning in hopes that he won't go hungry and he looked at me like I was a crazy person......




Yes these are my natural chubby rolls. I obviously will not starve.



Mama, what are you doing to me?!?!

I'm sure I'll get this look often in the years to come.

Sleepy baby

I'm not sure what Elliot is going through, perhaps a growth spurt or some serious teething, but he has been a sleeping champion. Yesterday he took a 5 hour nap, went to bed early and woke up 2 hours later than usual.


Now he is an hour and a half into his morning nap. Who knows how long this one will last?!?

Now if only I could be super productive during these naps......
